Leave No Trace principles are embedded into our philosophy. In essence, the purpose of Leave No Trace is to keep the wilderness wild. Hike it Out
Hike it Out is an environmental awareness campaign aimed at making adventurers responsible for taking their rubbish with them when exploring, and better still to remove what they find along the way. The campaign does this by educating people on the damaging effects of litter in the environment and provides advice on how to minimise your impact when exploring.
Soulful Hikes shares this vision, and we have taken the pledge to be environmentally focused when outdoors to minimise our impact.
One Tree Planted
We are a proud reforestation partner of One Tree Planted. For every hike hosted by Soulful Hikes, one tree gets planted in the world! This means, that when you book a soulful hike with us, you are contributing to plant a tree in the world! How awesome does that feel?!
One Tree Planted is a non-profit environmental charity on a mission of global reforestation. They plant trees in North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Pacific and we are excited to be able to contribute to this amazing project!
